Failure to yield leads to car crash and arrest

According to an Indiana State Police report, Leonard Bacon, 60, failed to yield in Parke County, just before midnight last night. Auditor reminds homeowners to file for exemptions

Clay County Auditor Joseph M. Dierdorf is urging all taxpayers to be sure they have filed for any applicable tax exemptions. Gov. Joseph E. Kernan has indicated that he and the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance will approach the Indiana Legislature to have the May 10, 2003, filing deadline extended to December 1, 2003. This deadline is for taxes in 2003, payable in 2004...
