Thelma was born Sept. 13, 1921 in Clay County and was the daughter of the late Raymond Cooksey and Bertha (Mitscher) Cooksey Theiss. Slick roads lead to accident late Sunday evening

Road conditions were cited as a factor in a single-vehicle accident Sunday night that trapped one individual inside the vehicle. Clay County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of an accident on County Road 900 N.
