Times Staff Report TERRE HAUTE — Terre Haute North edged out Northview in boys’ track 72-60 to complete a sweep of the meet. The Patriot girls topped Northview 101 to 30. The Northview boys had a successful set of distance runs as Michael Heading won the 800 (2:19.35) and 1,600 meters (5:09.59) and Nathan Forster picked up the 400 meter win (54.69). McNabb was also second in the 1,600 meteres. Taelur Evans swept the hurdle events for the Knights and Tyler McNabb won the 3,200 meters (10:57.62)...

Times Staff Report LINTON — Clay City picked up a boys’ team track and field victory in its first meet of the season with the girls placing fourth in the five-team meet. The boys edged out Sullivan and Linton by scoring 107 points with the Golden Arrows tallying 99 and the Miners placing third with 97 points. Shakamak and North Central wrapped up the scoring. City makes final payment to firm that aided in comprehensive plan creation

The city’s Board of Public Works and Safety agreed to pay the final balance owed to an Indianapolis-based architecture and community planning firm that helped the city create its comprehensive plan. Funding for the plan’s creation came from a $36,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs as well as a $4,000 local match.
