Kaden Hapenny, 11, was back at the “Young Entrepreneur Day” sponsored by Brazil Farmer’s Market, 203 South Sherman Street, Saturday. (open 9 a.m.-2 p.m.) In his second year of participating, Kaden said his booth was very busy with customers and figured he would do very well in sales today. He’s been saving his profits, spending a little here and there, but most are in the bank: He’s not sure what he will do with it yet...

Stephen “Larry” Lawrence Hook, 79, passed away Friday July 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 1, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Francis and Katherine (Draga) Hook. Larry graduated from Carmel High School in 1962, and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He married Susan Tidd on February 21, 1964, and was a member and Deacon of the Bridgeton Baptist Church, as well as serving on the Clay Community School Board for 8 years...
