Norma Jean Rector, 95, passed away at her residence on August 16, 2023 surrounded by family. Norma was born to the late Anthony and Ora (LaSelle) Fretz on January 7, 1928 in Clay County. Norma was a graduate of Ashboro High School. On August 7, 1945, Norma married the love of her life, Ray C. Rector, who preceded her in death on November 25, 1999. She attended Cory Zion Church.
