Hamilton Center Inc. (HCI) will partner with Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) through the newly established HCI Scholars Program. When Clay City’s boys basketball team made the trip to Farmersburg last Friday and delivered another double-digit win, it secured the program’s best finish in the Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference since the 2014-15 season. While there’s an outside chance the Eels could still become co-conference champions with a Linton loss to North Central on Friday (the Miners are projected to beat the Thunderbirds by 21 points, according to John Harrell’s analytics), Clay City will likely end the season in second place with a 6-1 record, beating its SWIAC opponents by a margin of 14.3 points per game.. ...
