County offices will close early for the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Closings include the Courthouse, Highway Department, Extension Office, Soil and Water Conservation Office, Health Department, Community Corrections, and WIC.

The Emporium’s Mystery Lounge was a scene of Fortnite carnage and dance moves Saturday morning as players of the 2017 video game faced off in a tournament. Snacks, camaraderie, and fun was had by everyone who attended the event.
