Jack Austin Anderson

Jack Austin Anderson passed away on Nov. 11, 2014. He was born on Nov. 19,1930 in Brazil, IN. He spent his youthful years in a community called Bee Ridge, close to Brazil, IN. His family moved to Indianapolis and Jack went to technical high school for 2-3 years. He developed great wood-working skills. He graduated from Fillmore High School, in Fillmore, IN and then went to Coyne Electronic School in Chicago, IL. Jack joined the Navy with continued education in the electronic field. Upon return, with the help of the GI Bill, Jack attended Purdue University and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He was hired by Mastin Marietta and worked with them on the east coast and in Florida. Most of his career was with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis which later became Boeing Aircraft.
